The MoD Education Department provides courses in English, French, German and Russian as part of a life-long learning program.  The courses are intended for employees of the Ministry of Defence.

English is taught at workplaces in Brno, Hradec Králové, Prague, Chocerady, Vyškov, Olomouc and Prostějov; French, German and Russian only at the workplace in Brno.

Language courses are mainly in full-time form, while the distance form is used only exceptionally. The purpose of language courses in most cases is to prepare for successful completion of the standardized NATO STANAG 6001 exam, or to maintain language competence.

In addition to language courses with a general focus, the Education Department also provides terminology courses that specialize in medical, aviation and general military terminology.

In addition to language courses, the MoD Education Department provides consulting services for employees of the Ministry of Defence who are not currently attending any MoD language courses. Consulting activities are provided in both forms, distance and full-time.
